1. About This Policy
This Cancellation Policy outlines the process and consequences of cancelling enrolment at Adamas Cricket Academy, operated by Adamas United Sports Private Limited (CIN: U93190WB2024PTC270113). It applies to all students and must be read alongside our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
2. Student/Parent-Initiated Cancellation
A parent or guardian may request cancellation of their child's enrolment at any time by providing a minimum of 30 days' written notice to the Academy.
How to Cancel
Submit a Written Request
Email cricketacademy@adamasunitedsports.com with subject: "Cancellation Request — [Student Full Name]"
Confirmation
The Academy will acknowledge receipt within 3 working days and confirm the effective cancellation date (30 days from receipt).
Clearance
All dues, including any pending fees and late charges, must be cleared before the cancellation is fully processed. Any Academy property (kit, equipment, access cards) must be returned.
Refund Processing
Eligible refunds (as per the Refund Policy) are processed within 30 working days after all formalities are completed.
3. Academy-Initiated Cancellation
The Academy reserves the right to cancel a student's enrolment under the following circumstances:
- Persistent or serious Code of Conduct violations
- Non-payment of fees for 2 or more consecutive months despite reminders
- Submission of fraudulent or misrepresented documents
- Behaviour that poses a risk to other students, staff, or the Academy's reputation
In such cases, the Academy will provide written notice with reasons. The student will have 7 days to respond before the cancellation takes effect. Refunds in such cases are governed by the Refund Policy (generally no refund for disciplinary cancellations).
4. Trial Cancellation
If a student attends a trial and chooses not to proceed with enrolment, no fee is charged for the trial itself. However, if a formal seat booking or advance fee has been paid, it is non-refundable unless otherwise communicated in writing by the Academy.
5. Programme Cancellation by Academy
In the rare event of a programme batch being discontinued (e.g., due to circumstances beyond the Academy's control), all enrolled students will be:
- Notified at least 15 days in advance
- Offered alternative arrangements where possible
- Fully refunded all fees paid (including admission fee) if no alternative is acceptable
6. Post-Cancellation
Upon cancellation:
- Access to Academy facilities, hostel, and training ceases on the effective cancellation date
- Academic records up to the cancellation date will be provided on request
- A leaving certificate and performance summary may be issued within 14 working days of clearance
- Confidentiality obligations regarding Academy methods and proprietary information remain in effect post-cancellation
7. Disputes
Any dispute regarding cancellation shall first be escalated to the Academy's Grievance Officer. If unresolved, the matter shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts at Kolkata, West Bengal.
